Electrical/Welding/Maintenance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical/Welding/Maintenance Specialist to join our automotive appliance manufacturing plant in Johor Bahru. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems while also performing welding tasks as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns promptly.
• Carry out welding (MIG/TIG) on components and structures following engineering specifications.
• Execute preventive maintenance programmes to minimise downtime.
• Interpret electrical schematics, diagrams and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an A4/A1 Chargeman or equivalent in an industrial setting.
• Strong background in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on welding skills and knowledge of welding processes.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site and respond to emergencies.
