Director, Services Business Development

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Services Business Development to lead demand generation and revenue growth for its Services portfolio across emerging verticals. You will act as the primary face of Mastercard Services to senior client stakeholders, shaping strategic relationships and driving end‑to‑end sales cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Own rigorous business development and account ownership for Services in emerging verticals, with direct revenue and sales responsibilities.
• Represent Mastercard Services to C‑suite and senior client stakeholders.
• Coordinate demand generation, marketing, solutions, and product teams across Services business lines.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to optimise go‑to‑market efforts and ensure best‑in‑class value delivery.

• Strong commercial drive with the ability to build and monetise senior client relationships.
• Proven ability to own and drive end‑to‑end sales from prospecting to signed contract.
• Collaborative attitude and skill in balancing multiple stakeholders across a large organisation.
• Excellent networking, listening, and influencing capabilities to advance business opportunities.
• Top‑level sales and negotiation skills for large deals.
• Disciplined lead generation and pipeline management.
• Ability to learn and promote a broad portfolio of products.
