About the role

PAUL Bakery is looking for a motivated Demi Chef / Commis Cook to join its pastry team in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. This full‑time, on‑site position supports daily pastry operations while upholding the brand’s French‑inspired hospitality values.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of a wide range of pastries and baked goods.
• Supervise junior kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during service.
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in the pastry area.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in recipes and processes.
• Coordinate with the front‑of‑house team to ensure timely delivery of pastry orders.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a bakery or pastry kitchen.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
