Data Centre Facility Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Data Centre Facility Manager to oversee the overall facilities management of our data centre in Sedenak, Johor. The role involves ensuring continuous monitoring, maintenance, and optimal operation of the building services that support critical IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive facilities management services for the data centre, including building services, security, and environmental controls.
• Monitor facility performance continuously and respond to incidents promptly to minimise downtime.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and manage service contracts with external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards applicable to data centre operations.
• Maintain accurate records of facility assets, maintenance schedules, and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities management, preferably within data centre or similar high‑availability environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, power distribution, and building automation.
• Ability to work on‑site full‑time and respond to operational issues outside regular hours.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
