Coastal Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Coastal Engineer to support planning and design of civil engineering projects such as land reclamation, port construction and other coastal structures, both locally and overseas.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the team in planning and designing civil engineering projects, including land reclamation, ports, jetties and revetments.
• Prepare site investigation plans, interpret results and carry out civil, structural, environmental and geotechnical design and analysis for coastal structures.
• Manage sub‑contracts such as soil investigation, accredited checker and biodiversity contracts.
• Supervise design and site work to ensure compliance with statutory standards, regulations and codes of practice.
• Support tender submissions and other project‑pursuit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering recognised by the relevant regulatory bodies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Team player able to multitask, disciplined, self‑motivated and resourceful.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Familiarity with engineering software such as StaadPro or Prokon is advantageous.
