Chargeman – 11kV Maintenance (Full-time)

About the role

We are looking for a Chargeman specialized in 11kV systems to join our engineering team at Johor Port Berhad in Pasir Gudang. The role involves overseeing the reliability of high‑voltage equipment and ensuring safe, uninterrupted operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute preventive maintenance activities for 11kV switchgear and related assets.
• Lead corrective maintenance actions to restore equipment promptly after faults.
• Supervise technical personnel and external contractors during maintenance tasks.
• Monitor compliance with electrical safety regulations and internal standards.

Required profile

• Relevant technical background in electrical or power engineering.
• Experience in managing maintenance programmes for high‑voltage installations.
• Ability to lead teams and work with contractors.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and safety requirements.

Required skills

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of 11kV equipment.
• Supervision of technical staff and contractors.
• Regulatory compliance in electrical power systems.
