Central Customer Service Coordinator India

About the role

Join Wilhelmsen’s Global Customer Service team to process customer requests for quotations (RFQs) and purchase orders (POs) for the India region. You will ensure timely handling of enquiries, support both global and local service teams, and maintain high service standards within agreed SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Accept tasks from the group mailbox, process RFQs and POs, and prioritize based on urgency, ETA and customer type.
• Communicate any irregularities or credit limit issues to the Local Customer Service (LCS) team.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and LCS to resolve outstanding tasks and ensure all transactions are accounted for.
• Highlight process improvements and share learnings with team leads or managers.
• Participate in team discussions, training, and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, including rostered work on Saturdays and public holidays.

Required profile

• Diploma in any field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in order fulfilment, supply chain or logistics.
• Ability to work India‑region hours (11 am‑8 pm, Monday‑Saturday).
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, analytical and planning skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Computer literate with ability to learn and use internal systems.
