Business Development Engineer – Geotechnical/Civil (2-Year Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge technical expertise in geotechnical and civil engineering with commercial activities. The position is a two-year contract based in Kelana Jaya, offering on-site work and regular client interaction across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within the geotechnical and civil engineering market.
• Prepare and present technical proposals that meet client specifications.
• Coordinate requirements between clients and internal engineering teams.
• Engage with clients through travel and networking events to build lasting relationships.
• Support the commercial team in delivering project bids and follow-up activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into commercial proposals.
• Ability to work on-site and travel as required.
