Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to define scope and manage business requirements for projects, translating high‑level user journeys into detailed functional specifications for system development or process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and facilitate business requirements gathering sessions and deliver high‑quality specifications on time.
• Create and present as‑is and to‑be process and system flow models, defining functional and data specifications and integration logic.
• Identify improvement areas, collaborate with technical teams to design target solutions.
• Maintain a requirement traceability matrix and prioritize requirements with stakeholders.
• Work with project manager and technology team to define scope, develop project plans and assess risks.
• Conduct quality reviews of deliverables, design test scopes, develop test plans and support testing and training.
• Manage post‑implementation activities including incident resolution, root‑cause analysis and lessons learned.
• Apply appropriate delivery methodology (Scrum or Waterfall) based on project needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business IT, Information Systems, IT Management, Computing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 4‑6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst or Product Owner on system development or process improvement projects.
• Experience in General and/or Life insurance with solid understanding of insurance products and processes.
• Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and project management best practices.
• Ability to analyse requirements, design solutions and support system testing and change management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio (or similar), JIRA and Confluence.
