About the role
We are looking for a Backup & Restore Engineer – Automation to join our client, Commerzbank AG, in Petaling Jaya. The role focuses on automating enterprise data backup and restore processes while working on a Malaysia‑based shift that aligns with EMEA business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation solutions for backup and restore operations.
- Implement scripts and playbooks using Python and Ansible.
- Integrate backup workflows with REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Ensure reliable enterprise data protection across the organization.
Required profile
- Solid experience with enterprise data backup and restore.
- Ability to work Malaysia hours (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM) to match EMEA (08:00 – 17:00 UTC+01:00).

What we offer
