AVP/VP Systems & Operations Solutions – Islamic Banking

About the role

The Assistant/Vice President will lead the Systems and Operations Solutions function for our Islamic Banking division. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day Islamic banking operations while driving digital efficiency initiatives that streamline processes, improve customer experience and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily Islamic banking operational activities, ensuring adherence to Shariah principles and internal policies.
• Identify, design and implement digital solutions to automate workflows, reduce manual effort and enhance operational productivity.
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, product and business teams to align technology projects with strategic banking objectives.
• Provide performance reporting and insights to senior leadership for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Islamic banking operations or a related financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of Islamic finance regulations, risk management and operational best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional projects and drive change in a fast‑moving organization.
