Automation Engineer – Project & Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for an Automation Engineer to lead both project and maintenance activities in our manufacturing facility. The role focuses on managing automation projects, programming and maintaining PLC and robot systems, and providing troubleshooting support to keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor automation projects from concept to completion.
• Program, commission, and maintain PLC and robot systems.
• Diagnose and resolve automation issues to minimise downtime.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing teams and ensure seamless operation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project delivery and system optimisation.
• Maintain documentation, adhere to safety and quality standards, and suggest continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience with automation projects, PLC and robot systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to support manufacturing processes and work in a fast‑paced environment.
