Audit Manager – Lead Quality Engagements

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit quality engagements for our external audit practice in Kelana Jaya. The role involves supervising audit teams, ensuring consistent application of professional standards, and delivering high‑quality audit services to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate audit quality engagements from planning through delivery.
• Supervise and mentor audit team members, providing guidance on methodology and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) standards, International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and the International Standard on Quality Management (ISQM).
• Review audit workpapers and reports for accuracy, completeness and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with senior management to continuously improve audit processes and quality controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing external audit engagements and leading audit teams.
• Strong knowledge of MIA, ISA and ISQM standards.
• Excellent analytical and judgment skills with a focus on quality assurance.
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is preferred.
