Associate I – Master Data Management (HR, Japanese Speaker)

About the role

Alcon is looking for an Associate I to join its Master Data Management team within Human Resources. The role focuses on maintaining accurate employee data, supporting HR processes, and providing first‑line assistance to associates across several Asian markets. Fluency in Japanese is a plus.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve daily HR tickets globally using Workday and ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Alcon associates and managers with HR‑related inquiries.
• Process HR lifecycle events such as employment verifications, new hires, data changes, onboarding, and colleague referrals while adhering to global and local compliance.
• E‑file associate records in the BOX repository.
• Create and maintain clear documentation, including SOPs, policies, and guidelines.
• Handle client requests politely with detailed, accurate responses.
• Build collaborative relationships within the HR team and across the organization.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in HR Shared Services or a similar function.
• Ability to support Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
• Good command of Japanese is preferred.
• Strong attention to confidentiality and data integrity.
