Associate Customer Order Desk – Logistics Support

About the role

The Associate Customer Order Desk supports the Material Services Support Representative (MSSR) in handling repair and spare‑parts orders from creation to delivery. You will act as the main liaison between Airbus Defence and Space (ADS) and the Royal Malaysian Air Force, ensuring material flows meet contractual and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound repair/spare shipments for ADS, working closely with RMAF Squadron 8, FBM, local warehouses, and hangar teams.
• Interact with the Main Depot Material (DMU) team to resolve tax‑exemption issues.
• Communicate with freight forwarders, logistics, procurement, and customs authorities to guarantee timely clearance and avoid storage charges.
• Create Repair Notifications (RN) and perform export‑control checks with MITI or equivalent bodies.
• Monitor and resolve any blockades affecting local teams or customers.
• Uphold Airbus values, leadership model, and code of conduct in daily activities.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Diploma in a relevant field with at least 2 years of experience in services, supply chain, logistics or material support.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to define and manage processes and work effectively in a team.
• Fluent English.
• Customer‑oriented mindset and awareness of compliance risks.
