Assistant Manager, Sales

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Sales will support the sales leadership team in driving revenue growth for Yeo Hiap Seng's FMCG portfolio in the Ipoh region. This role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution to ensure targets are met while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies that align with company objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Lead a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, performance reviews, and motivation.
• Manage key accounts, negotiate contracts, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and ROI analyses for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the FMCG industry.
• Demonstrated strong leadership, ownership, and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver measurable ROI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
