Assistant Manager, Production Planning

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Production Planning will support daily supply network planning operations for the Engineering Plastics plant in Pasir Gudang. The role ensures raw material availability, accurate production scheduling, system upkeep, audit compliance, and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Issue a monthly production schedule for each extruder line based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS) received from SCM Regional.
• Process production run data according to BASF procedures and record it in SAP (GR/GI).
• Provide feed preparation information to the Production Supervisor using SAP and MES bar‑code systems.
• Control aging stock of raw materials and coordinate adjustments with SCM and A‑PMA.
• Create new Material Master requests in Bizagi for third‑party raw materials or packaging changes.

Required profile

• Diploma in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in production planning or scheduling.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and promote a safety‑first culture.
