About the role

A market leader in health and life insurance is looking for an Assistant Coordinator Medical in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, through its partner Timeo-Performance. The role is permanent and focuses on administrative support for medical files.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply the relevant administrative procedures for all files and ensure they follow the provided guidelines.
  • Sort, check and distribute emails and files according to specific instructions.
  • Respond to queries and access relevant files.
  • Enter customer and account data by copying text and numerical information from source documents into Medcase.
  • Identify and alert the line manager about anomalies and sensitive files, and act as a source of proposals.
  • Keep information confidential and comply with data integrity and security policies.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the insurance industry preferred.
  • Strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Service-oriented, with strong attention to detail.
