Test Engineer – Manufacturing Test Systems

About the role

As a Test Engineer at Bosch Group, you will design, set up, and maintain derivative test systems for production lines, ensuring they meet project budgets, milestones, and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Set up test systems based on specifications, track budgets, and ensure on‑time delivery of equipment, hardware interfaces, and fixtures.
• Release test systems following the Test System Release Procedure and train maintenance teams on preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, and OEE improvement.
• Participate in project meetings to clarify plant requirements and support line troubleshooting.
• Execute full test implementations, manage alignment and calibration processes, and achieve defined test coverage.
• Analyze MIS data, drive test‑time reduction initiatives, and upgrade software to the latest DUT releases.
• Contribute early to new model concept discussions to ensure smooth hand‑over after SOP.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of electronics testing, troubleshooting, and measurement techniques.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
