Technical Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Technical Manager to lead our metal cutting tools expertise in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting to the Country Head for Malaysia, you will support customers, develop solutions and contribute to business growth across Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely technical support and solutions for product-related inquiries.
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend tailored machining solutions.
• Resolve complex machining issues and deliver practical advice and training.
• Conduct trials and testing of new and existing products on customer-specific applications.
• Provide feedback to product development to improve tool and system offerings.
• Manage cost‑saving initiatives and tool management programs to enhance customer value.
• Facilitate technical workshops, seminars and training sessions for customers and internal teams.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in the metal cutting tools or CNC machining industry.
• Proven track record in production engineering or machining operations.
• Strong analytical abilities to identify and address customer needs.
• Experience conducting technical consultations and delivering training.
• Ability to manage technical projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
