Talent Acquisition Intern (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role

BASF is seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Intern who is fluent in Mandarin to support recruitment operations across several Asia‑Pacific markets. The role offers a hands‑on experience in end‑to‑end recruitment service delivery while working within a diverse, global chemical company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment service delivery for Australia, China, Hong Kong, New Zealand or Taiwan, ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Handle candidate and hiring manager inquiries professionally, maintaining confidentiality and a high‑quality customer experience.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements that boost operational efficiency.
• Support administrative tasks related to recruitment, such as scheduling interviews and maintaining recruitment data.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree.
• Native or advanced proficiency in spoken, written and reading Mandarin.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Basic understanding of HR principles and employment laws.
