Supply Chain Planner - OSAT Factory

About the role

NXP Semiconductors Malaysia is looking for a Supply Chain Planner (SCO) for its OSAT (Outsource Semiconductor Assembly and Test) factories. The role optimizes production schedules and material flow so that products are delivered efficiently and on time, balancing capacity, demand and inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run production plans for assigned OSAT factories, aligned with global supply chain strategy and customer demand.
• Analyze demand forecasts, capacity constraints and material availability to build optimized build plans and commit schedules.
• Work with OSAT partners to monitor production progress, spot bottlenecks and put recovery plans in place.
• Manage inventory levels at OSATs to support production while keeping excess and obsolescence low.
• Collaborate with S&OP, Procurement, Engineering and Logistics to resolve supply chain issues.
• Use advanced planning systems such as SAP and IEMDM to generate, monitor and adjust schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement in the OSAT planning process and report regularly on production performance, forecast accuracy and inventory health.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in production planning, factory planning or supply chain management in the semiconductor industry, preferably with OSAT exposure.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, especially assembly and test operations.
• Fluent English; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
