Staff Test Engineer

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Staff Test Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of complex test systems for our semiconductor product lines. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure test solutions meet performance, cost, and schedule targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the tester concept study together with CoC, SE and engineering teams.
• Plan, design, and budget overall test systems, including hardware, fixtures, and software.
• Manage procurement activities, supplier performance, and ensure delivery of equipment on schedule.
• Release test systems following Bosch’s release procedures and provide training for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Implement full test procedures, achieve defined test coverage, and oversee calibration and alignment activities.
• Support production lines with troubleshooting and technical guidance.
• Drive daily test operations, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives such as test‑time reduction and machine efficiency.
• Participate early in new model concept discussions to ensure smooth hand‑over to the set‑up team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, tester development, and production test solutions.
• Proven technical leadership and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, project‑management and communication skills.
