Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic SEN Teacher to support the strategic development and daily implementation of our Special Educational Needs provision. The role ensures that students with special needs achieve their individual learning goals and developmental requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom support and provide one‑to‑one or small‑group assistance to SEN students.
• Support students with personal, social, or physical needs, encouraging independence and confidence.
• Help manage classroom behaviour using positive reinforcement and motivate engagement during lessons.
• Prepare and adapt learning materials, teaching aids, and resources for SEN learners.
• Observe, report progress and challenges, and contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff, and participate in training sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization or certification in Special Needs Education.
• Minimum 3–5 years teaching experience, including at least 2 years directly in Special Educational Needs or Inclusive Education.
