Space Planning Executive

About the role

Nestlé Malaysia is seeking a Space Planning Executive to drive shopper‑centric merchandising across its commercial teams. The role focuses on optimizing shelf layouts, planograms and store designs to enhance shopper engagement and conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and cascade Nestlé’s category picture of success for the home‑shelf using the Merchandising Toolkit.
• Build sales team capability on Merchandising Best Practice Guidelines (WIES) and optimal store layout concepts.
• Advise on new product placement by creating planograms based on shopper insights and coordinate shelf‑test feedback.
• Identify improvement opportunities in key accounts and recommend in‑store best practices for emerging channels.
• Propose and justify planogram revisions for NCM accounts, supporting Joint Business Plans and business reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of FMCG experience with a focus on space planning or merchandising.
• Comfortable working with data to drive decisions.
• Proficiency with Spaceman software is an added advantage.
