Solutions Architect / Tech Lead (AI & Digital Delivery)

About the role

We are seeking a Tech Lead / Solutions Architect to drive the technical direction of AVEVA’s new AI & Digital Delivery hub in Kuala Lumpur. You will shape architecture, set engineering standards and deliver secure, scalable solutions that enhance AI‑augmented experiences for our customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own solution architecture across MCP augmentation layers, multi‑region platforms and the Unified Partner Experience.
• Establish engineering standards, security patterns, CI/CD practices and development ways of working for the hub.
• Lead technical decisions for cloud services, hybrid deployment patterns and multi‑cloud environments (Azure, Alibaba Cloud).
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers through architecture reviews, code quality governance and hands‑on support.
• Collaborate with global engineering and enterprise architecture teams to align delivery with AVEVA’s broader technical strategy.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including leadership of engineering teams in agile environments.
• Strong architecture experience with .NET / C# and modern front‑end frameworks, preferably Angular.
• Proven track record designing and delivering cloud‑native solutions on Microsoft Azure or equivalent platforms.
• Deep understanding of API design, microservices, event‑driven architecture and integration patterns.
