Site Safety Supervisor – Interior Design & Fit‑Out Projects

About the role

The Site Safety Supervisor will oversee health and safety compliance on interior design (ID) and fit‑out construction projects for Cheksern Young in Petaling Jaya. The role involves coordinating safety activities, ensuring regulatory adherence, and promoting a safe work environment across dynamic project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.
• Develop, implement and monitor site‑specific safety plans.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian occupational safety legislation and industry standards.
• Perform risk assessments and hazard analyses for all construction activities.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks and briefings to site personnel.
• Investigate incidents, near‑misses and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors and clients on safety matters.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports and records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction site safety, preferably on interior fit‑out projects.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to lead, influence and motivate site teams.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site full‑time in Petaling Jaya.
