Share Margin Financing Account Manager – Wealth Asset Financing

About the role

The Share Margin Financing (SMF) Account Manager will drive product awareness, build new‑to‑bank pipelines and nurture relationships with brokers, dealers and clients. You will act as the primary point of contact for SMF services, ensuring high‑quality service and supporting the bank’s wealth financing objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Promote SMF through external brokers, personal bankers and relationship managers to generate new‑to‑bank sales.
• Maintain strong relationships with in‑market brokers, dealers, remisiers and clients, delivering superior customer service.
• Provide accurate, up‑to‑date information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle customer complaints, propose solutions and follow up to resolution.
• Participate in marketing campaigns to increase SMF utilisation and NTB acquisition.
• Visit external brokers and Priority Banking Centres on a regular basis.
• Gather client feedback on product features and competitor activity for the Wealth Asset Financing product manager.
• Conduct product training and briefings for external partners.
• Cross‑sell related financing products such as mortgages, hire purchase, personal loans and credit cards.
• Support audit, compliance and ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Malaysian citizen.
• Minimum Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Business Studies or Marketing.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Global Market, Equity Dealing or Wealth Management.
• Candidates who have passed SIDC Module 6 & 7 are encouraged to apply.
