Senior/AVP, Product Development (Islamic Banking)

About the role

Alliance Bank is seeking a senior‑level professional to lead product development initiatives within its Islamic Banking division. The position is based at the Kuala Lumpur City Centre office and reports to senior management. The role will work closely with various business lines to ensure that new and enhanced products align with the bank’s customer value proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Support the customer value proposition across multiple lines of business by designing new Islamic banking products.
• Enhance existing product offerings to meet evolving market needs.
• Drive product‑related initiatives that align with the bank’s strategic goals.
• Identify market opportunities for Islamic banking solutions.

Required profile

• Senior or AVP‑level experience in product development, preferably within Islamic banking.
• Strong understanding of the banking sector and Islamic finance principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead product development projects from concept to launch.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kuala Lumpur and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
