Senior Specialist, Meeting Services Support

About the role

The Senior Specialist, Meeting Services Support provides day‑to‑day operational expertise for assigned markets and meeting types within the Travel, Meetings, Events & Fleet organization. Acting as a subject‑matter expert, the role ensures compliant, efficient delivery of meeting administration, financial processes, and stakeholder coordination across global locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end operational support for meeting and event administration, including HCP/HCO account maintenance, agreement preparation, purchase order processing, payment, expense support, reconciliation and event closure.
• Coordinate complex case resolution and escalations, assessing impact, urgency and stakeholder involvement, and driving corrective actions to completion.
• Monitor service performance indicators such as volumes, turnaround times, quality, right‑first‑time rates, aging cases and backlog, and prepare operational insights for governance calls.
• Facilitate operational and governance calls, documenting decisions, action items and follow‑up, and present performance updates to senior stakeholders.
• Support process transitions, knowledge transfer, hyper‑care, stabilization and continuous‑improvement initiatives, including documentation updates and adoption of digital tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an operational subject‑matter expert in a global meeting services or events support environment.
• Strong ability to manage complex cases, escalations and stakeholder relationships across compliance, finance and procurement functions.
• Demonstrated track record of monitoring service metrics, preparing governance updates and driving process improvements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital collaboration and reporting tools used for service monitoring and automation.
• Experience implementing and supporting automation opportunities and digital reporting solutions.
