Senior Plant Controller – Manufacturing Finance & Product Costing

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Plant Controller to lead cost controlling, budgeting and product costing activities for our manufacturing value stream in Bayan Lepas. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to drive financial performance and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse manufacturing and operational costs, perform variance analyses and manage overhead cost allocation.
• Coordinate annual business planning, consolidate budget requirements and prepare financial forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Calculate and maintain product costs, analyse cost drivers and support pricing and profitability evaluations.
• Track capital expenditure, tooling investments and resource utilisation; conduct make‑or‑buy analyses.
• Monitor production KPIs such as OEE, FPY, cycle time and throughput; contribute to value‑stream mapping and improvement projects.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, prepare management reports, dashboards and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plant controlling, product costing, manufacturing finance or cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of product costing, budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
