Senior HCM Business Analyst – System Integration

About the role

PwC’s Workforce team is looking for a Senior HCM Business Analyst to help organisations transform their HR and payroll processes. You will work closely with clients to design, integrate and optimise enterprise‑level HR systems, ensuring data flows smoothly between Oracle HCM and local payroll solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing HR and payroll landscapes and define integration requirements.
• Collaborate with HR, payroll and IT stakeholders to capture functional and technical specifications.
• Design data‑mapping schemas between Oracle HCM modules and client payroll systems.
• Develop, test and deploy integration workflows, scripts and APIs.
• Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues and maintain data integrity.
• Document integration configurations, processes and best‑practice guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a System Integrator, System Analyst or similar role in enterprise HR/payroll environments.
• Delivered at least two full‑cycle HCM payroll implementations in Southeast Asia (e.g., Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Oracle HCM (Payroll, Leave & Attendance, Claims).
• APIs and web‑service integration.
• Middleware platforms such as IBM WebSphere, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Microsoft BizTalk.
• Database technologies – SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle.
• Data‑mapping techniques and system integration best practices.
• Project management methodologies and tools.
