Senior Facilities Manager / Director

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for a senior leader to head the Facilities Management (FCM) department in Bayan Lepas. The role combines strategic planning, budget control, and hands‑on oversight of mechanical and electrical plant systems to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set and control the FCM budget, define targets and monitor performance.
• Ensure training and competency development for all FCM associates.
• Manage real‑estate assets in line with central directives and local regulations.
• Maintain audit, legal compliance and certification for environmental, safety and health standards.
• Develop and update policies, guidelines and long‑term plans for maintenance and operations.
• Oversee daily operation of mechanical systems (lifts, HVAC, exhaust, chillers, PCW, high‑speed doors) and electrical systems (transformers, switchgear, lighting, ESD gates).
• Guarantee preventive maintenance is performed timely to minimise impact on plant production.
• Drive cost‑reduction, consumption‑optimisation and resource‑efficiency programmes.
• Lead projects to meet budget and timeline, coordinate with end‑users, and align design specifications for extensions and renovations.
• Introduce Industry 4.0 and digitalisation initiatives within FCM.
• Supervise landscaping, housekeeping, canteen services, waste management, water supply and sewerage.
• Ensure building repairs, ESD floor testing and environmental footprint improvements are carried out.
• Collaborate with Global Real Estate and the ASEAN Cluster Service Team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in facilities, industrial plant or real‑estate management.
• Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and manage external contractors.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and central corporate directives.
