Senior Executive - Settlements

About the role

Deriv is looking for a Senior Executive - Settlements in Cyberjaya. The team handles daily fund movements across multiple entities and dozens of payment service providers, both fiat and crypto: client payouts, intergroup transfers, PSP top-ups and withdrawals. It is hands-on operational work, with a focus on speed, precision and documentation, and sits alongside an AI Treasury Management platform that is already in production.

Key responsibilities

• Process fiat and crypto settlements: client payouts, intergroup funding, PSP top-ups and bank wires; manually fund wallets when automated sweeps fail; split high-value transfers per the risk-mitigation procedure; track turnaround times and validate hashes against blockchain records.
• Monitor multi-chain wallet balances (stablecoins such as USDT and USDC), calibrate minimum balance thresholds, execute crypto trades to rebalance holdings, and coordinate with the crypto custody team on sweep configurations and exposure limits.
• Onboard new PSPs, set up settlement instructions and thresholds, manage PSP incidents (settlement halts, downtime, format changes) and liaise with PSP support and account managers.
• Take part in UAT of the AI Treasury platform, drive requirements with engineering, raise and validate bugs, and help shape improvements from an operator's view.
• Maintain operational documentation, settlement procedures, lead times and PSP workflows so the team does not depend on tribal knowledge.

Required profile

• 3 to 5+ years in settlements, payments operations, treasury operations or accounts operations.
• Experience moving real money: bank wires, crypto, intergroup transfers and payouts at meaningful volume.
• Fintech, trading platform or crypto-adjacent experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, fast in operation, direct communicator, and comfortable with AI tools.

Required skills

• Solid working knowledge of crypto from an operational standpoint: stablecoins, major chains, on-chain verification and sweeps.
• Hands-on experience executing crypto trades, swaps or rebalancing is a strong plus.
• Working understanding of PSP and banking rails: authorisation, settlement, fees and reserves.
