Senior Business Consultant – Docmap

About the role

OneOcean is seeking a Senior Business Consultant to act as the trusted advisor for Docmap customers. You will guide clients through the full solution lifecycle, combining deep knowledge of the Docmap platform with maritime industry expertise to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops to capture customer processes, challenges and project goals.
• Design and propose Docmap‑based business solutions that align with best practices and client requirements.
• Serve as the primary consultant during implementation, configuring Docmap, managing project timelines and ensuring successful delivery.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Systems Engineers and Customer Support to drive pre‑sales engagements and product feedback.
• Support customer success initiatives and continuously improve consultancy standards across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business consulting or solution design within the maritime or related industrial sector.
• Strong understanding of operational processes and the ability to translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with a track record of leading workshops and managing implementation projects.
