Senior Associate – Risk Performance, Governance & Controls

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Assurance Support Services team in Kuala Lumpur. You will work closely with engagement teams and clients, providing expert advice on risk performance, governance and controls, and helping to implement and optimise GRC solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct workshops, interviews and discussions to understand client processes in risk management, business continuity and IT security.
• Review, summarise and document existing client frameworks and processes.
• Develop functional and user‑requirement documents, end‑user manuals and deliver post‑implementation training.
• Prepare and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and change‑management plans.
• Configure GRC systems such as Archer and ServiceNow, including data fields, workflows and user access controls.
• Perform internal testing, manage data migration, support post‑go‑live activities and integrate GRC solutions with data sources.
• Collaborate with audit engagement teams, PwC leadership and other internal groups to develop policies, processes and tools for the assurance practice.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with solid experience in risk, governance and controls within an assurance or audit environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, capable of translating complex business issues into actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with clients, conduct workshops and deliver training.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with engagement teams and audit clients.
