Senior Associate – Master Data Governance & Management (Supply Chain)

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate to lead Master Data Governance and Management for its supply chain. The role focuses on maintaining the Finished Goods and Non‑Finished Goods Material Master in SAP and legacy ERP systems, supporting product launches and the full product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain new material master records and change requests in Alcon ERP systems to support manufacturing and supply‑chain product launches.
• Execute daily Material Master maintenance, including global and local extensions, process improvements, business rule development, ticketing management and metric generation.
• Apply Alcon business rules from the GDM Data Dictionary to ensure data accuracy, consistency and completeness.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning, Finance, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Manufacturing to resolve master‑data issues promptly.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of out‑of‑sync conditions and execute data and process remediation.
• Provide SAP Material Master expertise to local Data Stewards, manufacturing sites and the Supply Chain Hub.
• Analyze large data sets for ERP data validation and cleansing activities.

Required profile

• Experience in Master Data Management within a manufacturing or supply‑chain environment.
• Strong understanding of SAP Material Master and ERP data structures.
• Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and manage change requests.
• Analytical mindset for data validation, cleansing and root‑cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to support local Data Stewards and business owners.
