Senior Associate - HCM Functional Consultant

About the role

PwC’s Workforce team is looking for a Senior Associate HCM Functional Consultant to help clients integrate and optimise their HR and payroll systems. The role focuses on delivering end‑to‑end Oracle HCM payroll solutions across Southeast Asian markets and ensuring seamless data exchange with local payroll platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing HR and payroll environments and define integration requirements.
• Collaborate with client HR, payroll and IT teams to capture functional specifications.
• Design data mapping and integration flows between Oracle HCM and local payroll systems.
• Develop, test and deploy APIs, scripts and middleware workflows.
• Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues and maintain data integrity.
• Document configurations, processes and best‑practice guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a System Integrator, System Analyst or similar role in enterprise HR/payroll projects.
• At least two full‑cycle HCM payroll implementations in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia or Vietnam.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Familiarity with project‑management methodologies is a plus.

Required skills

• Oracle HCM – Payroll, Leave & Attendance, Claims modules.
• API and web‑service integration.
• Middleware platforms such as IBM WebSphere, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Microsoft BizTalk.
• SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle database management.
• Data mapping and transformation techniques.
