Safety & Health Officer (SHO)

About the role

The Safety & Health Officer (SHO) will support the company's Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) programmes, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing workplace risks and fostering a strong safety culture within our construction operations. The role focuses on monitoring workplace safety and strengthening safety culture on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of EHS programmes across construction activities.
• Monitor compliance with local safety regulations and internal policies.
• Identify, assess and control workplace hazards and risks.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
• Promote safety awareness and reinforce safe work practices among staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Safety & Health Officer with relevant certification.
• Experience in construction or related environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian occupational safety legislation.
