Safety Coordinator

About the role

The Safety Coordinator will lead occupational safety and health activities for our facilities management operations in Shah Alam. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on creating a safe work environment through proactive inspections, incident investigations, and continuous improvement of safety practices.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily safety and health initiatives across all sites.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Investigate incidents and near‑miss events, preparing detailed reports and corrective action plans.
• Promote a culture of safety by delivering training sessions and safety briefings.
• Maintain accurate safety records, statistics, and documentation.
• Collaborate with management to develop and update safety policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in occupational safety and health, preferably within facilities or engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian safety legislation and industry best practices.
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations and produce clear reports.
• Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement.
