RtR Specialist

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a self‑motivated RtR Specialist to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and support continuous improvement within its finance team in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse periodic management reports (MISAL, ALSIS) and quarterly intra‑group matching reports based on IFRS.
• Collect data for statutory closing, prepare forecasts, and perform month‑end and year‑end journal entries.
• Maintain account reconciliations, cost allocations between profit centres, and internal freight and insurance bookings.
• Record fixed‑asset movements in ERP, run depreciation, and resolve RTR‑related queries and audit questions.
• Support internal controls, create SOPs and process maps, and ensure 100% data accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑6 years of General Ledger experience in an SSC/BPO environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a continuous‑improvement attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Working knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Familiarity with IFRS reporting standards.
• iScala knowledge (a plus).
