Retail Supervisor – Sports Retail

About the role

The Retail Supervisor will lead and drive sales performance at the Vans Imago store in Sabah, maximizing commercial opportunities and ensuring an excellent shopping experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Increase sales per square foot and grow average basket value and total transactions.
• Plan and execute sales promotions efficiently.
• Deliver timely seasonal changes and high‑standard merchandise displays.
• Analyze sales data, identify improvement opportunities and act on floor observations.
• Maintain optimal stock levels using stock management systems, overseeing warehouse‑to‑store transfers, fitting‑room turnaround and receiving processes.
• Implement best practices from the commercial management toolkit.
• Lead, motivate and engage the team to achieve daily sales targets.
• Ensure compliance with retail operating hours, including public holidays.

Required profile

• Malaysian citizen.
• Minimum 3‑4 years experience in sports retail.
• At least 3 years of direct experience managing a retail store.
• Willingness to work retail hours and on public holidays.
