Regional Lead APAC

About the role

The Regional Lead APAC supports the Macro Regional Director in executing strategies that align with global objectives. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the role monitors marketplace performance, drives cross‑functional projects and provides actionable market insights across the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Macro Regional Director in developing and executing regional strategies.
• Monitor KPIs for drivers, passengers and marketplace balance at regional, country and city levels.
• Generate insights and recommendations to optimise performance and grow the network.
• Lead cross‑functional projects and act as PMO for regional initiatives.
• Coordinate business rhythms across Marketing, Marketplace and Operations teams.
• Oversee country launch projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget alignment and regulatory compliance.
• Provide localized feedback on product, pricing, competitor actions and market trends to central teams.
• Support partnership development, strategic guidance and negotiation for countries.
• Coordinate with PR and Government Relations teams to align public and government agendas.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in multi‑country operations, preferably within APAC.
• Proven experience in project management, either as a PMO or within an operations function.
• Background in e‑commerce or ride‑hailing.
• MBA or Business‑related degree preferred.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally across country, regional and central teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience supporting or managing P&L, building business cases and scenario planning.
