QA Technician – Test Sample Coordination

About the role

The QA Technician will coordinate and manage test samples throughout the testing process at Bosch's Penang manufacturing site. This role ensures that samples are requested, submitted, tracked, and that results are communicated promptly to support production quality.

Key responsibilities

• Request test samples from production lines via Production Order.
• Track sample progress and ensure all orders are closed in a timely manner.
• Arrange and submit samples according to the defined test plan to the appropriate test laboratories.
• Monitor test progress with labs and ensure tests are completed as scheduled.
• Provide feedback to engineers when issues arise during testing.
• Issue failure notices to the concerned parties when test failures are detected.
• Maintain accurate testing records and ensure proper documentation of all test results.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Basic computer literacy; advanced Excel knowledge is an advantage.
• Systematic, detail‑oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively to meet deadlines.
