Purchasing Internship – Supply Chain

About the role

Join Bosch Group’s Purchasing team in Petaling Jaya for a hands‑on internship focused on indirect supply‑chain activities. You will support process improvements, sustainability initiatives, and digitalisation of purchasing workflows while gaining exposure to real‑world procurement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of process improvements for indirect supply‑chain sourcing approval workflows.
• Assist in achieving procurement objectives such as CO₂ reduction, supplier credit term extensions, and productivity tracking.
• Help automate and digitalise purchasing and ordering processes.
• Monitor supplier performance, track profitability and supply‑base metrics for risk mitigation.
• Conduct market research and gather supplier insights for sourcing decisions.
• Analyze supplier quotations and prepare comparative evaluations.
• Coordinate with suppliers on quotations, documentation, and order‑related matters.
• Provide operational support for logistics‑related procurement projects (warehouse, transport, packaging).

Required profile

• 4 to 6 months compulsory internship (specify period in resume).
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Available to start in September.
