Purchase-to-Pay Analyst Intern – Mandarin Speaker

About the role

Join BASF's Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) team as an intern and support the manager in delivering automation, process improvements, and day‑to‑day operational tasks. This position is ideal for a Mandarin‑speaking student interested in finance, procurement, and business administration.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with request fulfilment planning and administrative activities.
• Support automation initiatives across teams to simplify work processes.
• Participate in improvement discussions, helping to define plans and timelines.
• Contribute to tactical projects aligned with team objectives.
• Coordinate and manage P2P initiatives, preparing documentation and presentation slides.
• Provide ad‑hoc operational support to the unit as needed.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a degree program such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Linguistics or a related field.
• Available for a minimum six‑month internship.
• Team‑player with a high level of maturity and independence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.
