Project Management Officer (PMO) – Kuala Lumpur

About the role

We are partnering with a leading fintech company to hire an experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) for their growing team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The PMO will support the Project Manager and subject‑matter experts in tracking progress, reporting status, and ensuring project objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and SMEs in tracking project progress and status.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and align team members toward project goals.
• Prepare project reports covering status, issues, risks, and budget.
• Organise meetings, take minutes, and maintain project documentation.
• Support improvements to PMO processes, tools, and workflows.
• Handle ad‑hoc tasks and assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Project/Program Management Office supporting IT projects.
• Knowledge of project‑management concepts; certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL or Agile Scrum are a plus.
• Strong English proficiency; Mandarin language ability is desirable for client communication.
