Project Execution Engineer (R&D)

About the role

As a Project Execution Engineer in the R&D department, you will lead the technical realisation of new products from concept through to release. You will ensure that designs meet customer, regulatory and Bosch standards while driving efficient engineering execution.

Key responsibilities

• Industrialise engineering concepts and coordinate work packages from implementation to team release phases.
• Develop, optimise and maintain mechanical component designs (plastic and metal) and create CAD drawings and 3D models.
• Prepare and update Bills of Materials, manage BOM changes and conduct functional cost analysis.
• Define, plan and execute performance and functional tests, evaluate results and produce comprehensive test reports.
• Act as the technical liaison for testing issues, supporting the Product Quality Engineer and maintaining test methods and devices.
• Implement engineering changes, keep all documentation current and drive design improvements based on stakeholder input.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and warranty teams on technical changes and participate in project workshops such as FMEA.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or related field.
• Experience in product development, testing and validation within an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of Bosch processes, Product Innovation Framework and related quality standards.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate technical information clearly.
