Project Engineer (Mechanical) – Data Centre

About the role

Shape the Future of Critical Infrastructure. Bureau Veritas is seeking a passionate Project Engineer (Mechanical) to support the construction and quality delivery of a major data centre development in Banting, Selangor.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical systems and installations to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Review construction quality, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Verify materials, equipment, and installation workmanship.
• Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
• Participate in inspections, testing, and technical reviews.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare inspection reports and quality documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Registration with BEM preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience.
• Familiarity with HVAC, mechanical services, and site supervision activities.
• Data centre project experience highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin.
