Procurement Planner / Senior Procurement Planner

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for a Procurement Planner (Senior) to manage the procurement activities of assigned materials in Bayan Lepas. You will act as the main interface with the customer order planning team and project stakeholders, ensuring material availability and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities, serve as the primary liaison with customer order planning and project teams.
• Support material simulation to handle order fluctuations and fulfill requirements.
• Analyze MRP reports after each run and take corrective actions.
• Provide daily updates on material delivery issues and attend critical supply task‑force calls.
• Escalate supply issues according to the RASIC escalation matrix.
• Ensure timely material arrival in correct quantities to avoid production disruptions.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and manage complex supplier relationships.
• Assist with inventory management, covering monthly inventory turns, disposition of rejected or obsolete material, and handling freight or line‑down claims.
• Participate in engineering change requests, setting implementation dates for ECNs.
• Support Bosch Production System initiatives such as kanban, continuous improvement projects, and KPI achievement.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in any discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement planning, material planning, or supply chain.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage supplier performance.

Required skills

• Experience with MRP systems and material simulation tools.
• Knowledge of inventory management and ABC classification.
• Familiarity with Bosch Production System (BPS) concepts such as kanban.
